EVENT AND REGISTRATION

When and where is the reunion?

Friday, July 2 through Sunday, July 4, 2027, in Phoenix, Arizona. Reunion activities are centered at Arizona Grand Resort & Spa, 8000 South Arizona Grand, Phoenix, AZ 85044; Saturday’s Main Event activity is in Tempe.

How do I register, and can guests attend?

Select the appropriate package at www.hankins-whatleyfamilyreunion.com and complete checkout. Everyone attending a package activity should have the appropriate registration. The organizing committee is the Hankins-Whatley Family Reunion Committee.

What is the registration deadline?

The current site does not state a confirmed registration deadline. Please check the website or ask the committee before making travel plans; packages may be limited by availability.

What does a full reunion package include?

The current product listings include Friday arrival and reception with food and games; Saturday Main Event with food and Family Jam reception with food; Sunday worship and closing banquet; plus, a gift bag and reunion T-shirt. The adult listing also names a reunion program. Review the specific product listing for your age group at checkout.

What does the Sunday only package include?

The listed Sunday only packages cover Sunday morning worship and the closing banquet. The current Sunday only listings do not promise the full package’s other activities, gift bag, or T-shirt.

Are deposits available, and when are payments due?

The current website features two types of purchase packages; the “Full Reunion” and “One Day (Sunday) purchases. The website not offers a newly updated process for making deposits. The payment deadline is February 15th, 2027 for all payments. Please follow the amount and terms displayed at checkout or contact a member of the committee if assistance is needed.

Can a previously paid family member keep their original terms?

Yes, all previous payments will be honored. If you paid before the date or pricing change, please email the committee if you have not already been contacted by a member of the Hankins-Whatley Family Reunion committee. We will be able to verify and apply your recorded payment.

REFUNDS, TRANSFERS, AND MERCHANDISE

Can I cancel or request a refund?

All registration payments, including deposits and partial or full payments, are final and nonrefundable for a change of plans, subject to applicable law. Merchandise, including T-shirts, is final sale. See the separate Refund Policy for legally required remedies if an item is damaged, incorrect, or not delivered as promised.

May I transfer registration?

Yes, you may request transfer of paid registration to another family member before the event and before use. Email the purchaser’s order number, original and replacement attendee names, age category, and contact details to the reunion address below. The transfer is complete only when confirmed by the committee. A category or package price difference must be resolved first.

Are donations registration payments?

No. The site accepts donations to support the reunion; donating does not reserve admission or create a transferable registration.

SCHEDULE, TRAVEL, AND HOTEL

What is the schedule?

The site lists a Friday arrival and evening Meet and Greet; Saturday Main Event and evening Family Jam; and Sunday worship (10:00–11:15 a.m.) and closing banquet (2:00–6:00 p.m.). Confirm Saturday Main Event timing with the committee: its current event listing spans 11:00 p.m. Saturday to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, which conflicts with the Saturday daytime package description.

What should I wear?

The current package listings describe a Sunday reunion T-shirt. No general dress code is confirmed; watch for committee updates.

Where should I stay and what are the hotel rules?

The website links to the Arizona Grand Resort & Spa group booking portal and lists June 19, 2027, as the discounted-rate booking deadline. It currently describes $119 per night plus a $30 resort fee and tax, subject to the actual booking offer. Hotel check-in is listed at 4:00 p.m. and check-out at 11:00 a.m. The hotel reservation is separate from reunion registration; verify its rate, deposit, waterpark access, parking, and cancellation deadline directly in the hotel booking terms before confirming.

Which airport should I use?

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) is the nearest major airport. Arrange and pay for your own transportation unless your package expressly says otherwise.

UPDATES, ACCESSIBILITY, AND PRIVACY

How will I receive updates?

Check the website and provide an accurate email address at checkout. The site also offers an optional email signup for reunion updates. You may unsubscribe from optional updates; necessary order and event communications may still be sent.

What if I need an accessibility arrangement or registering with a child?

Contact the reunion committee to discuss your needs and coordinate with the venue. A parent or guardian should submit information about a child attendee and supervise the child. The current site does not clearly state a price or package rule for children under three; ask before purchasing.

How is my information handled?

The separate Privacy Policy explains attendee and order data, Squarespace hosting and service providers, cookies, email updates, and requests to access, correct, or delete information.
